Tie in to Ultraviolet

It would be great to have Xbox Video be a Ultraviolet provider. This way digital copies of movies could easily be redeemed and viewed with Xbox Video and movies bought on Xbox video can be viewed on a device where Xbox Video is not available.

Please add Ultraviolet support!!! I have over 500 movies that I can't watch on xbox video :(

Just bought a surface pro 3 and I can finally see my content on a device other than an Xbox. You're behind the times Microsoft. All of my movies are purchased through Vudu. Vudu just keeps getting better and better while your movie service is getting more and more irrelevant!

Lost yet another sale (Star Wars) to Vudu, because you do not support UVVU (Ultraviolet) or Disney's Movies Anywhere.

Whats worse is that Microsoft is a member of Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (DECE), the organization behind UVVU.

This would be the game changer that would give me confidence to invest in this eco system. I could be assured that my titles carry valid UV licences and my collection is safe long term.

Please integrate Xbox Video with UltraViolet movies like iTunes and Google Play does. I really like the Xbox Video App and I try to watch most of my movies here. However, when I find movies on sale in stores, I buy them only to find out that there are no download capability for Windows devices (SP3, tablets, etc.)

Give me a reason to buy from you Microsoft and I will ... it's that simple, if you serious about it.

How can your Xbox Video and Music service compete with Amazon Prime ? I get Unlimited Prime Video (TV Series / Movies) Streaming, Unlimited Prime Music Streaming, and Free expedited shipping on purchases for a few dollars difference on just what you want to charge me for Music Streaming alone...

Video Purchases ? When I want to purchase a movie, I check who has the best deal of the UltraViolet members (Flixster, Vudu, Barnes & Noble Nook, CinemaNow, Target Ticket, Verizon FIOS On Demand, M-GO, or simply Blu-ray with UV license on-board) and buy from them ... Xbox Video isn't even considered ...

You can't be that blind, as to not know why your not the premier service out there... but your Sales and marketing strategy leaves me .... looking elsewhere.

Every time I see a good sale in Xbox Video, I'm tempted, but then stop because I know I can't watch it on other devices (we rent occasionally, but always go back to discs for buying). UV tie in would help that immensely.

It's been under review for over a year now, that a long time to figure out if you want to implement a feature. I hope this something you intend to implement as part of XBox Video.

Maybe we could get an update from someone at Microsoft.

Hurry up and make this happen, or I'll just keep spending my money on Walmarts VUDU app

Looks like Amazon is about to take the plunge. When will we see this on Xbox video?

      • SeanSean commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Has there been any traction on getting UVVU (ultraviolet) and Xbox video to synch?

      • KyleKyle commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

This would be so amazing! Watching Ultraviolet movies on my Xbox One and other Xbox Video capable devices! :D

      • AnonymousAnonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I don't buy movies on Xbox Video for this reason alone.... If this changes, my spending habbits with Vudu will surely change with it.

      • GeorgeGeorge commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

This would be great. I have stopped buying blockbuster movies from Xbox video, and by the ultraviolet version from Vudu so the family can watch them on their devices.

      • DanielDaniel commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Yes! Yes! Times a million more-YES! No one wants their movie collection spread across multiple video services!Ultraviolet is the universal standard for me. If I were able to link my Ultraviolet account with Xbox video and have my existing collection from Ultraviolet on Xbox video, I'd feel alot more comfortable purchasing movies and TV shows from Xbox video.

      • oolyumoolyum commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

This is probably THE most important feature I want in Xbox Video. Having to use Vudu for this sole purpose is annoying. I just want to use Xbox Video on all my devices and have digital copies stored there. Please let them know this is really important.

I will not be purchasing any movies, other than rentals, from Xbox Video until this supported, especially considering how expensive HD movies are to purchase. It would be really awesome if Microsoft beat Apple and Google to this.

      • Eric JilotEric Jilot commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I am going to require the ability to play any digital purchase on all my devices before I even consider purchasing digital only content. That in include, content protected via Ultraviolet or Disney's Movie Anywhere program.
